Models, markets, judgment.
Teaching and research give me a disciplined way to think about valuation, investment, expectations, evidence, and the decisions people make when the future cannot be known in advance.

Professor of Finance at Al-Akhawayn University.
I work across finance, fiction, and trading performance. Teaching and research are one body of work; fiction is another. They stand on their own, but together they shape the service I offer: coaching experienced traders.
Finance asks for rigor. Research asks for evidence and revision. Fiction asks for patience with contradiction and the stories people tell themselves. Coaching asks whether a good idea survives contact with pressure. I am interested in the point where all four meet.
Uncertainty changes the way people think. I am interested in what it reveals.
Teaching and research give me a disciplined way to think about valuation, investment, expectations, evidence, and the decisions people make when the future cannot be known in advance.
Academic profile →Fiction lets me stay with what models necessarily leave out: memory, shame, tenderness, self-deception, grief, desire, and the untidy interior logic of a human life.
Explore the books →Coaching brings the question down to the moment of action. A trader can understand a rule perfectly and still abandon it under pressure. I use the rigor of research and the behavioral attention of fiction to examine that gap closely.
Explore coaching →I value careful thinking, evidence, and clear structure. I am equally wary of false certainty. Markets are noisy. People contradict themselves. Stories resist clean conclusions. Useful work has to make room for that without becoming vague.
Whether I am teaching, writing, or coaching, I try to begin with the same discipline: look closely at what is actually happening before deciding what it means.
